Evaluation of Mobile Physiological Data Acquisition Devices

Mobile physiological data acquisition devices can be used to measure an observer’s level of arousal during a task that requires locomotion through a real environment. However, the extent to which these devices produce similar data as their stationary counterparts is largely unknown. The present project attempts to verify whether such mobile devices are sensitive to stimuli that tend to produce large differences in arousal and determine which of several mobile devices is most consistent with a relatively precise, stationary device.
